INTERVISIBLE DESIGN

The Dirdie Birdie is an elevated and immersive indoor mini-golf experience with 12 one-of-a-kind art installations combined with a full service restaurant and bar. The holes were designed and fabricated in Oakland, CA; shipped to and installed in the bustling commercial area of the Domain in Austin, Texas. The themes of the mini golf holes are both a manifestation of branded original concepts and tributes to recognizable ATX landmarks. The course as a whole is both excitingly tactile and digital in that it combines an exquisite array of materials and miniature features to be played on and around but is also integrated with interactive sensors, LED driven designs and even an arcade styled video game and projection mapped room!  Our team collaborated intensely with local architect-of-record Clayton Korte designing the stylish interior space that tastefully blends a vibrant modern design with vintage golf elements.
