AWS REINVENT 2024
In collaboration with the talented team at Production Club, I was responsible for supporting the Spatial and experiential design efforts related to the AWS Re: Invent event, one of the biggest tech events in the world, expanding across five venues in Las Vegas with over 55,000 attendees. The goal of the event was to create awareness and a truly digital immersive experience that engages and teaches the attendees about the broad range of services and products in the AWS ecosystem.

My role and responsibilities included conceptualizing and exploring the different possibilities of what these immersive environments could look and function like, with a primary focus on infusing elevated and tech-driven elements to create premium branded experiences. I tasked with supporting multidisciplinary incentives and cross-functional teams, which included graphic, production, experiential designers, and creative directors. This project required corresponding with the fabrication and build partners to ensure the activations were realistic in their execution and within budget.

In addition to the Re: Invent main spaces, I was also tasked with supporting the more premium AWS executive summit, a VIP lounge within the main Re: Invent venue, dedicated to the executive-level individuals within the organization.
This space was intended to provide an environment of repose from the stimulation of the main event, which included more intimate breakout zones for small meetups, a keynote stage for engaging conversations, and an expansive lounge space that provided ample seating for attendees to lounge, chat, and get a little bit of work done.
The Executive Summit’s aesthetic leaned heavily into premium furniture selections, with the scenic elements incorporating rich wood textures, purple to blue gradient jewel tones, flowing catenary hanging fabrics, and custom-designed Molo walls that were both ground-supported and flown above with truss.
