INTERVISIBLE DESIGN
YOUTUBE X MKTG
This 3000-person YouTube event was internally facing and produced for the company's employees to celebrate a year of growth and implementation of new features the platform had introduced that previous year.
To show out on brand and really engage the attendees, our team sought to introduce a number of interactive digital elements; an entry archway clad with intelligent people-tracking stage lights, an LED wall linked to a Kinect sensor for real-time tracking and motion graphics, a playful setup of inflatable spheres embedded with vibration sensors provoking the guests to touch them as they pass by, and of course a silent disco inviting the attendees to boogie with positivity alongside their colleagues.
As senior environmental designer on the project, I was tasked with leading a small team to manage the physical builds, configure the overall strategy for spatial planning on all activation elements, and work alongside the production team to ensure the branded elements were materially and dimensionally feasibly within budget and functionally sound.
